Coed Volleyball Advances to Second Round by Defeating Paint Branch 3-2
The coed volleyball team advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Paint Branch in a tough match 3-2. The team was lead by the blocking and hitting of Senior Matt Stemple. He lead the team with 13 blocks and 7 kills. Senior Mel Punzalan also had a great game at the net and passing while senior Alicia Quintana and junior Brandon Kim had outstanding sets throughout. Junior Doug Aubertin had great digs in the back and tough serving. Finally the team was lead by senior captains Sara Adam and Valerie Jones who contributed in all facets of the game. The team will now take on 10-1 number 2 seeded Quince Orchard on Tuesday night.
