Bocce Team Begins Season 1-1
The Bocce team began their season 1-1 this past week with a win over Gaithersburg and a loss to Sherwood.
After falling 5-4 in the first game in their match against Gaithersburg, the team came back to win the second game 7-2. The third game of the match was tied 6-6 going into the final frame, and Patrice Warren and Deanna Kuehn each scored to give Rockville the game and match win! Shaafi Burki, Deanna Kuehn and Cassidy Siebenhar led the way against Gaithersburg with 3 points each.
Corinne Ribaudo led the team with 2 points in the loss to Sherwood. Also scoring in the Sherwood match were Thomas Kawamura, Brent Jordan, Alisha Dey and Alia Ghanem.
Come out and cheer on the team for our final home game on Wednesday, January 6th at 3pm in the Main Gym!
